FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Why is Kindergarten constituent tuition lower than non-constituent tuition?
FLEC is financially supported by six constituent churches:

  • Altamonte Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Apopka Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Markham Woods Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Orlando Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Spring Meadows Seventh-day Adventist Church

These churches financially support their members’ students who attend FLEC. This is why there is a lower tuition rate for families who are members at one of our constituent churches.

Does FLEC have a school nurse?
FLEC has a clinic that is staffed by RN’s daily during the school year. The clinic is available to students from 8:00 am until dismissal.
For questions regarding how we handle allergies and other health concerns, please email our head nurse at kim.lunde@myflec.com.
Does FLEC have a hot lunch program?
With the needs of our students and families in mind, lunches are available to all students at no additional cost. That means that each student regardless of financial background has the opportunity to enjoy hot and healthy food each Monday-Thursday during lunchtime.
Will my student have any enrichment classes?
Students have two thirty-minute music classes, two thirty-minute PE classes, as well as library and Spanish time each week.
Does FLEC require a uniform?
Lands’ End is the uniform source for FLEC. Uniforms with our school logo can be purchased through landsend.com. We encourage you to get on the Lands’ End email list as they are continually having promotional sales. Please visit our Handbook for further details. Meet the Kindergarten Teachers

Beth Gomberg

Mrs. Gomberg has been working at FLEC for 21 years and loves that she can share Jesus with her students everyday. She enjoys teaching kindergarteners because there is so much enthusiasm for all the little things, it’s exciting to experience activities with them for the first time. Something you may not know about Mrs. Gomberg is that her grandfather played baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies and the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1930’s. It is also Mrs. Gomberg’s lovely voice narrating our Preview Day video!

Lori Hudak

Mrs. Hudak is in her 6th year working at FLEC. She enjoys being able to collaborate with our amazing Kindergarten team and feels blessed to be able to teach her students about Jesus. Kindergarten is a fun grade to teach because the kids are naturally curious and eager to learn new things, including participating in discussions about spiritual concepts and Bible stories. She enjoys the hands-on learning and marvels at the growth and development over the course of the year. In her spare time, Mrs. Hudak enjoys interior decorating of homes.

Robyn Bilbrey

Mrs. Bilbrey has been teaching at FLEC for 7 years. She likes working with kindergarten students because they are so enthusiastic about everything. Her favorite subject to teach is math. She believes that a solid math foundation is very important for the success of students. When not at work, Mrs. Bilbrey enjoys spending time with her family and making crafts.
